Junior Lifesavers 

The youth of Surf Life Saving are not only the key to our future but are often already leading the way. With their high energy levels, their love of the beach and in many cases, their outstanding surf skills, they are critical to all aspects of surf lifesaving.

Peregian has a dedicated group of Junior Lifesavers (Cadets and Junior Actives) who enjoy getting involved in club life. Junior Lifesaver activities are coordinated by a Youth Development Officer but are largely planned by the kids themselves. They meet regularly to socialise, stay fit and help out at Club events. They also do their own fundraising for specific activities such as trips to movies, theme parks, youth events and for their annual end of season bash.

Activities under way this season include car washing and facepainting fundraisers (every market weekend) and regular expression session in the surf on weekend mornings. Contact administration if you would like more details on (07) 5448 1728.
